Amazing $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. The Main Attraction

The standout feature is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.

For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
