Tomorrow was forecast to be the heaviest precipitation period, with persistent severe weather risk anticipated across different parts of both areas.

Public health experts warned that there was an greater possibility of weather-related respiratory issues across the northern rural areas, particularly given the existing atmospheric conditions.
