At its most basic, they turned a figure of compassion into a symbol of animosity who blesses exactly the harshness that he condemned in biblical teachings; this change developed more gradually, through multiple decades as opposed to months, yet it remains disturbing in the same ways, a confusing personal impact for numerous individuals.
A Harmful Christianity Takes Hold

A Conflict for the Best of Us
Hence I have become encouraged to see the determined opposition regarding Trump emerge during the previous year.
